Donkey: But what’s the use of contradicting yourself, of mixing up serious ideas with all these fantasies and absurdity?

Plant: I think it’s productive, in the way that artworks used to be.

2084 episodes, two film projects about the future institutions and art practices directed by me and Anton Vidokle will be in the exhibition Bergen Assembly - An Initiative for Art and Research, "Monday Begins on Saturday" curated by Ekaterina Degot & David Riff.

The first episode we set was in Berlin as an audition like an experimental staging open for anyone who wanted to join. With the open - door rule we hosted artists, writers who want to fictionalize the art climate and production, artist position and future institution in the year of 2084, in the future. The film is also in the show at Times Museum, China.

In another recent episode that we shoot we do introduce the future "general intellect" and  "noosphere". 

--> The Noosphere means the "sphere of human thought" and is the third in a succession of phases of development of the Earth, after the geosphere and the biosphere. We did shot the film in the incredible geography of Capadocia.

Plant:  The noosphere emerged through and is largely constituted by the interaction of human minds.

Donkey: Do you really have to credit everything to humans? I mean there are other brains, donkeys have them too.
